REDD+ is the international program aimed at Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Land Degradation. Suriname successfully opted for the Readiness phase of the REDD+ program in March 2013.

Forward Motion assisted the program by video documenting dialogue processes, developing communication tools for local facilitators in the interior and logistical support at conferences.
